I am a Dresden based Sound Recordist, Sound Designer and Sound Editor. Since 2003 I have been working on more than 30 films, including features, documentaries, shortfilms and TV shows. In 2008 I received my diploma certificate in Sound Engineering  (Tonmeister) at the Film Academy ‘HFF – Konrad Wolf’ in Potsdam (Germany).
    Grown up in the orbit of a theatre, I experienced the importance of the spoken word early in my life. This experience combined with my understanding of filmaking as a colaborative process and a passion for my native language induced my huge affection with DIALOG EDITING.
    Besides the creation of sound FX it is the last stage of a production to essentially improve the dramaturgy of the film and the performance of the actors. Changing rythms, interchanging takes, adding or deleting lines may have a huge impact on the emotional as well as the rational perception of a movie.
    I work as a freelancer in constant collaboration with other freelancers and companies using both rented and own equipment. I’ve been on location in Germany, England, India, Spain and the U.S..
    In addition to my knowledge about all standard Sound Editing Software (e.g. Pro Tools, Nuendo, …) I’m familiar with NI Reaktor and Cycling74′s MAX/MSP. If needed I create dedicated tools for the specific demands of a project…
